Fictional Theme Parks

Movies and series have shown us how unique a truly innovative theme park can be. Have you ever imagined if amusement parks near you were similar to the ones on screen? Well, our imagination holds no bounds. So, in this article, we present some of the best theme parks to be found on television and how great it’d be if they genuinely were real.

The very first park on this list of iconic tours of fictional parks would have to be Jurrasic Park. In the original series, the park never opened to the public. However, we got to see how truly amazing it would have been to experience living in the same period as these prehistoric creatures. Just suppose you open your phone and type out “amusement parks open near me”, and voila, there are real-life dinosaurs ready to greet you. The new Jurassic World series, however, shows us exactly the potential of what a theme park like this could have been before it, unfortunately, suffered the same fate as its predecessor. But keeping all of its death and destruction in mind, we cannot be too sure that the idea of having such humongous creatures permanently around and in such proximity to humans would be a good idea after all. In the end, though, no one can deny its attraction as a great theme park.

The next, sadly fictional on this list of great yet totally fantastical amusement parks open near me has to be Spooky Island. Who didn’t see the Scooby-Doo movie for the first time and dream about going on such a cruise with their friends? Well, that was before the nefarious activities unfolded, of course. So, apart from the monsters, sacrificial rituals, as well as the dubious owner, Spooky Island had seemed like an absolute blast. The gorgeous tropical island and the park's skyline add to the whole vibe. A lot of its fictional rides are very Disney-esque, and if you count the huge dark ride in the spooky castle, the entire experience is sure to be one that people would pay premium money for.

Growing up obsessed with Alvin and the Chipmunks means you must have seen the movie with the Majestic Movie Studio Park. This fictional theme park may have been based on real-life amusement parks in California, especially universal studios, but this fact does not make it any less fantastic. With their squirrel mascot, a Frankenstein’s Castle ride, and an awesome roller coaster ride, this fictional theme park, had it been real, would have been sure to take your breath away.

A fictional tour of fictional theme parks is all well and good, but it can never replace the thrill of being inside the real ones. So, why wait? Check out the best water park in USA and have a real experience of the amazing rides.
